Brian Shanahan has been the Director of Brimar Consulting since its foundation in 2003. He is an experienced and successful Migration Agent, specialising in appeals to the Migration Review Tribunal and the Refugee Review Tribunal.
He has a life time of experience in immigration and multicultural affairs issues and his work in these areas has been recognised by the award of the Federation Medal and Victorian Government Award for Excellence in Multicultural Affairs. In 2011 Brian was also awarded the Order of Australia Medal for services to local government and the Irish Australian community. Brian has been a Councillor of the City of Melbourne and Chair of the Council Finance Committee 2004-2012, President of the Celtic Club and President of the Irish Australian Chamber of Commerce.
